Cyberbullying
Cyber bullying takes place in a computer where strangers or a person you may know who attacks you emotionally by writing negative things about you. These things happen often in social networking websites where you may or may not know who is insulting you. Cyber bullying has led people to death by committing suicide who are usually younger kids. In the article "Girl's Suicide Points to Rise in Apps Used by Cyberbullies" explains about a 12 year old girl who committed suicide for being bullied by 15 middle school children. It also explains the types of apps they have used to bully the little girl. The question is are the apps causing Cyber bullying or us?

AI and Robotics
Robots can do what humans can, but not everything. I am certain that a robot won't be able to do most things of what a human can do. Us humans aren't perfect and so will be the robots. If we were to program a robot there is a chance that the robot will end up having a bug which will cause errors. Who is to be blame if the robots ends up causing trouble? In the article "Should we put robots on trial?" stated who is to be blame if you were to be injured by a machine that moves by itself? I will think that the companies that created that machine will be the ones to face the consequences. I think it will be a long time from now that we will be able to see robots walking and living with humans.

Should information be free? the answer for this question is yes and no. My reason for "No" is we shouldn't obtain information such as movies, music ,etc. If we were to download these things for free we will be damaging who ever are selling these items sales. We are hurting the owner instead of supporting them. For yes, i think information should be free. Not everyone can buy movies, music or other things. We rather spend it on something important. We have websites and other programs that help us get these information for free without any trouble. In the article "Piracy, computer crime, and IS misuse at the university" they discuss about how students are able to obtain free information and agree to doing them. Not many people are afraid to committing piracy.

Security and Privacy
In the artticle i read, http://news.cnet.com/8301-1009_3-57618283-83/target-works-on-security-heavy-credit-cards-after-breach/ it talks about a massive security branch that Target is still reeling from. The company was hacked and affected as many as 110 million customers. Their information such as names, mailing addresses, debit and credit cards, etc, were able to be seen by the hackers. The article also states that the credit cards have tiny microprocessor chips which helps to strengthen the security to make it difficult for the hackers to access your account. From reading this, the security of credit cards with the microprocessors will keep developing and making it difficult to hack into. The UK and Canada already have a more secure technology called chip-enabled smartcards which isn't spread through out the entire US, but from seeing security increase i think that also hackers will improve and have other methods to hack into personal information. I have read and seen videos that in the near future that we will be seeing microchips being implanted into people hands where the credit cards won't be needed and all of your information will be in that microchip. The microchip will have a tracker and will be able to identify which disease you have or will have. But this is rumors and I myself don't know when will it happen or will it. To learn something as the microchip it scares me how technology is increasing and how it may affect us, either it will be good or bad.

World Wide Web
The World Wide Web of course will continue to evolve since there is
companies competing with each other, they develop and expand on old
and new ideas therefore always improving. Companies such as Microsoft,
Apple and other companies all aim to change the world with new and
improved technologies such as the invention of cloud computing, it
makes things easy for us by having data backed up online, databases,
monitoring, software, and much more. It reduces us from using up the
hard-drive on our computers. As the web continues to change, companies
keep track of what is popular among users. For instance, a lot of
people are connected to the WWW on mobile gadgets. Companies seek to
improve technology and meet with the demands of the consumers.
According to the article

Microsoft purchased Nokia's phone business and patent rights to help
boost Windows Phone software. The market is dominated by Apple and
Android. These competitions boost creativity in many companies,
therefore the World Wide Web continues to change.

Networks and Communication
Asynchronous communication may be used in a lot of ways. For example, I can email a friend a link. He might read it right away or may take a few hours. I sometimes text message and the same thing may happen. The person may not reply to me fast. On the other hand when using synchronous communication the other person receiving my call on Skype or other chat clients they will reply right away because we are connected at the same time.
Both forms of communication are reliable methods to interact with others but it also has consequences such as being distracted when we drive or walk. According to the article, (http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/ 22/tech/mobile/texting- walking-study/) studies are showing affects. People can be hurt, because they aren't paying attention to their surroundings.

First Blog Post
Hello! The name is Jesus Cordero
A course can effectively teach how to integrate blogs by using twitter, and/or other web 2.0 technologies. As the article stated, (http://dailyorange.com/2013/ 02/barillari-classroom- technology-effective-when- used-as-additional-tool/) teachers and students have been now using Twitter to tweet their thoughts and to get to know their classmates much better or use blogs to post our ideas and discuss an article we read. This is a new form of community that our generation is doing now instead of discussing together in class, but it is helpful as well by having the information written in our blogs or tweets that we can study from. For example, my professor and peers communicate with each other using blogs to get to know each other and to see how each one of us thinks and how we don't have same ideas for different situations. I read my peers thoughts and I discovered things that I myself haven't thought about. Hence, I do think a course can effectively integrate twitter, and/or other web 2.0 technologies for the enhancement of blogs.
