Networks and Communication

Asynchronous communication may be used in a lot of ways. For example, I can email a friend a link.  He might read it right away or may take a few hours.  I sometimes text message and the same thing may happen.  The person may not reply to me fast.  On the other hand when using synchronous communication the other person receiving my call on Skype or other chat clients they will reply right away because we are connected at the same time.
Both forms of communication are reliable methods to interact with others but it also has consequences such as being distracted when we drive or walk.  According to the article, (http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/22/tech/mobile/texting-walking-study/) studies are showing affects.  People can be hurt, because they aren't paying attention to their surroundings.
